Recent studies have shown that microplastics sluff off products made with plastic and although I haven’t seen studies specifically testing mixing bowls, I ask, “why chance it?” If you can buy a sturdy glass mixing bowl set, like this one I received as a wedding gift more than 30 years ago, and it lasts forever, go for it! Ditch your plastic bowls and stick with glass. Your body will thank you for decreasing the amount of microplastics impacting your health when ingested by accident!
