Recently unveiled: aerosol- and talc-based items, such as root touch-up products, might harbor the cancer-causing agent benzene as an unlisted by-product. Determined to find a safer alternative, I discovered a mineral-based substitute for root touch-ups between salon visits. This new find impressed my stylist so much that she jokingly reminded me to rinse it out before my appointment to avoid any interference with the fresh color application. LOL
