Do you need more reasons to do your part?
Human behaviors are changing the world's ecosystems and I personally feel that we can do better. Amazing organizations like the World Wildlife Fund track and advocate for protection of wildlife populations, but I feel compelled to share information here to do my part to raise awareness.
When we purchase modern consumer products, we support manufacturers and systems that play critical roles in the health of our planet, which ultimately impacts human health. That should provide good reason to make better choices and purchase products that don't destroy habitat for living creatures.
Both Yuka and EWG apps share environmental toxicity information on product ingredients. I take that information into account when I choose eco-healthy products for my own family and share them in my low-tox products shop.

Common Murres
A 50-year study recently reported that Alaskan Common Murres decreased in population by 76% (4 million) due to starvation caused by disappearing food sources in warming ocean waters.
Calling All Humans!
We need to remember that in our planet's ecosystem, everything is connected. If our actions lead to the disappearance of one species, it impacts countless others. Everyone needs to do their part. This is an "all hands on deck" type situation.
